The sister, who was found guilty of murder of real brother and niece, was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Additional Sessions Court. In the year 2019, Densit Kinnari Patel murdered his real brother Jigar Patel and 14-month-old niece Mahi by giving water and cyanide of Dhatura.
It is said that Kinnari conspired to murder due to lack of respect in the family. At first he tried to destabilize his brother mentally by giving him water of datura. He was later killed by giving a capsule of cyanide. After 15 days of killing her brother, Kinnari gave water of datura to her sister-in-law. However, he was admitted to the hospital. On the other hand, taking advantage of this, Kinnari killed her 14-month-old niece by feeding her with cyanide.
Cyanide was used on insectsThe cyanide is said to have been brought from a jewelery shopkeeper in Ahmedabad. He first used it on insects. Earlier he had obtained information about potassium cyanide on the Internet.
Public prosecutor BM Pandya told that the Additional Sessions Court of Patan sentenced the accused sister to life imprisonment for the murder of brother and niece. The convict will remain in jail till the last breath of his life.
The accused was arrested in this case. Then the matter went to the sessions court. The trial went on for the production of charge sheet. After the production of evidence and other witnesses, the court convicted the accused of murder. Thereafter, the court sentenced him to life imprisonment.
